Catherine Tuhirirwe is a PhD Researcher at the School of Finance and Management at SOAS University of London. She is currently a Graduate Teaching Assistant at SOAS University London and a Graduate Research Project Supervisor at Glasgow Caledonian University London. Her research interests are centered around Development finance, Debt management, Public investment, Infrastructural development, anti-money laundering (AML), and tackling economic crime. Her current research project investigates the impact of Chinese investment loans on sustainable economic development in Africa: Case studies of Kenya, Senegal, Uganda, and Zambia. Catherine holds a Masters in Finance and Financial Law, also from SOAS, University of London.
