PROFILE SUMMARY

Sumedha is a PhD student at the University of Cambridge where she researches international financial standards, identification systems, and financial inclusion. She has also worked as a Researcher for the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance and the Bennett Institute for Public Policy, focusing on financial technologies and measuring progress. Prior to her time at Cambridge, Sumedha was at World Economic Forum, where she collaborated with governments on shaping technology policy. She began her career in a newsroom focused on global development. Sumedha holds a Master of Public Policy and a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia.
